There have been more yoga classes and videos popping up online for kids. When kids get the chance to learn yoga it can really help them later in life to manage stress. It is also a good method of exercise for kids who may not be into other forms of exercise. Yoga can also help to build strength and flexibility, which can be helpful in other sports or life in general. This can be really good if your kids are stuck inside and have a lot of pent up energy. Perhaps you just want to be able to exercise with your kids, this can help you set a good example of having a healthy lifestyle. There are many free resources out on the internet, especially YouTube.
At Home Yoga
Ever since the coronavirus hit and places started going under lockdown, more and more people started to look for new hobbies, such as yoga. All of the yoga studios were closed around the world and the only options were at home yoga or outside socially distanced yoga. Many studios and yoga YouTubers did live streams of yoga sessions. This helped people to be introduced to alternative ways of practicing yoga from your living room.
Outdoor Yoga
In addition to at home yoga, outside yoga has also become even more popular with a global pandemic going on. With masks on, mats -or no mats-, and social distancing in place a reimagined in person form of yoga was reborn in a state of disease. Yoga instructors tend to have a mic and speakers so that the surrounding participants can all hear. I actually attended one of these outdoor yoga events, I really enjoyed myself and couldn't make up my mind on whether or not I wanted to use my mat. All in all, doing yoga outdoors on a field or some other flat surface can be an excellent way to switch up your practice.
With the many forms or trends of yoga it can be rather intimidating. Just remember to breathe and have fun. Yoga is mainly for enjoyment, movement, and finding peace in our lives. If you find yourself stressing about doing new things in yoga, just take a step back and do what makes you feel your best.
